Jade Winfree, from Nashville by way of Birmingham, Alabama, is the frenetic rock duo born from the spirits of Lexi Jade Waldon and Christopher Winfree. An infectious combination of Lexi’s soaring melodies and Christopher’s ripping riffage, Jade Winfree is a breath of fresh air in the world of rock.
Best friends since meeting in high school in 2010, Lexi and Christopher finally found themselves both in Nashville in May 2024. After a year and a half of writing, Jade Winfree took to recording 17 songs at The Bomb Shelter with engineer Drew Carroll. There, they subsequently recorded their debut EP and LP.
In May, Jade Winfree released their debut single “The Bull” and played their first show at The Basement’s New Faces Night.
In July, they followed up that release with their second single “Light in My Eyes” and took to The Basement stage for their first headlining set.
